I’m thinking of studying in Paris but I don’t know which are the best universities in Paris for International students I don’t speak French, so looking for places where courses are in English or they’re chill with international folks. Anyone got some names or tips??
I am on the same boat i was searching too and found some good ones!! Check out Sciences Po – their undergrad programs are super international + they’ve got courses in English. Also PSL (Université Paris Sciences et Lettres) is super ranked worldwide… but very competitive. You could also look at Sorbonne University – they have some English-taught tracks, esp in sciences. I think most of these need a solid SOP + your grades, but language isn’t always a blocker. Just check their official site once for the exact program you’re interested in!
hey @vihaan52
If you don’t speak French yet, there are still some good options in Paris with full English-taught programs and a lot of international students.
- Sciences Po – great for politics, IR, law, econ, super international.
- American University of Paris – US-style, everything in English.
- Paris School of Business – business/management degrees in English.
- École Polytechnique – top engineering school, some MScs fully in English.
- HEC Paris / ESSEC – big names for business, lots of English programs.
Even if classes are in English, learning a bit of French will make life in Paris way easier
Hi @vihaan52, Paris has some great options for international students, even if you don’t speak French. A lot of universities now offer programs fully in English, especially at the master’s level. Some names to check out are Sciences Po (great for politics and social sciences), Sorbonne University (they have a few English-taught programs), PSL University, Paris-Saclay University, and American University of Paris (very international vibe).
Also, some business schools like HEC Paris and ESCP offer plenty of English programs. Just double-check the course language before applying most uni websites have a filter for “English-taught programs.” Paris is super international, so you’ll find plenty of students in the same boat as you.
