I’m planning to apply to the University of New Haven in the US, mainly thinking of MS in Business Analytics. Just wondering which majors here actually have good job options later and which ones don’t? Also anyone got an idea about university of new haven tuition? wanna make sure I’m not choosing something that’s all money no job
Honestly MS Business Analytics is one of the safest bets rn. Most ppl I know who did it from there got into decent jobs in the US, esp around data or business roles. But yeah, you gotta hustle for internships early.
Tuition’s kinda high ngl. I think it’s somewhere around $25-30k a year? But def check latest numbers. It’s still cheaper than a lot of other private US unis tho.
Sameee, I was checking for psych n stuff but heard it’s not that great if ur tryna get into the US job market directly after. STEM fields usually get better OPT + job chances too.
Business analytics is popular there, like they got good profs n all. But don’t just go by the major, try to look if the uni actually helps with placements or career fairs etc. Some ppl struggle even with good majors.
tbh criminology, hospitality, liberal arts type majors at new haven don’t have strong job scenes, unless u do smthn extra or hv a backup. my cousin dropped after 1 sem lmao
Yo but even with analytics, don’t expect a job to land in ur lap lol. U gotta apply mad early, use LinkedIn like ur life depends on it, and network. Still better than going for something like art history (no hate just facts).
Heard from a senior the CS and cyber security programs are fire too. If ur thinking long term tech jobs, might even be better than analytics.
