Average Universities

I have got admit from average universities in USA. Does MBA degree from average universities jeopardize job prospects?

The job prospects depend largely on your future plans. If you have a well-thought-out plan about your future and your goals are clear then getting an admit to an average university will not harm your prospects. But if you are getting a degree because you want to get a Master’s degree then I’d advise you to aim for good colleges as there will be ample opportunities for you to explore various fields. If you are not sure about the field you want to get into then an average university might not be able to help you much.

An MBA degree should be a tool for you to further your career. So, think about how this degree serves your purpose if you have one, and how this degree will help you with the next step after your graduation. Is it leading you to the direction you envisioned or are you hoping to get a direction from this degree?

Further, there are many things that can be done to get the best value from your degree. Such as planning out your course duration in such a way that it serves you in the best possible manner. Networking and making valuable connections on campus and otherwise is the key. Be active and find new opportunities that complement your goals. What you do with your time on campus is definitely going to define your future opportunities.
Hope this helps.
