I’m looking for advice on applying to English-taught Master’s programs in Germany for Computer Science, AI, or related fields. I’m an international student and worried I’ve missed the deadlines for most public universities. Are there any universities with later deadlines, second intakes, or other options still available for international applicants? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Don’t panic just yet! It’s true that many public universities have early deadlines, but there are still options. Have you looked into universities with later deadlines or second intakes? Some might have programs starting in the spring, for example.
But isn’t it too late to apply for universities now? As in almost all deadlines were in January for the summer intake 2025.
Yes it is too late now may be you could try for the winter intake instead as all the good public universities have closed their applications.
I’ve done some searching, but it’s overwhelming. It’s hard to find clear information about deadlines specifically for international students. And what about private universities? Are they an option?
Private universities in Germany often have more flexible deadlines than public ones, so they’re definitely worth exploring. They might be more expensive, though, so that’s something to consider. Also, some public universities might have rolling admissions for certain programs, meaning they accept applications until the program is full. It’s worth checking each university’s website individually or contacting their international admissions office directly.
