Are mid to low ranked universities of Uk worth it?

I have had a excellent academic history but cause of my finances am not able to target high ranked universities and the fully funded scholarships of Uk require going back to home country which I don’t wanna do as I wanna settle there so should I settle for low to mid ranked Uni’s then ??

@Sakshi_Singh That’s a very thoughtful question, and it’s completely okay to feel uncertain when finances are limiting your options. The truth is, you don’t necessarily need a top-ranked university in the UK to build a successful career or settle there. What matters more is choosing a program that aligns with your goals, offers practical skills, and is based in a location with good job opportunities.

Many mid- to low-ranked UK universities offer strong, career-oriented programs, especially in fields like business, healthcare, engineering, and tech. These universities often have good industry links and offer solid support for international students through placement assistance, career fairs, and graduate employability services. Plus, with the Graduate Route visa, you’ll have the chance to stay back and work in the UK for up to 2 years after completing your degree and that’s often what really shapes your future opportunities. So yes, going for a mid-tier university can absolutely be a smart and strategic move if it helps you stay aligned with your long-term plans.
