Hey! I’ve been trying to figure out how to write a SOP for masters, and I came across this site called SOP-Writer.in. Just wondering… has anyone here actually used it? Was it any good?

Yeah I saw that site too. Looked decent but kinda pricey? I wasn’t sure if it’s better to just write it myself with some online templates.
Honestly, I tried one of those SOP writing services before—not this exact one—but it felt too generic. They do the job but don’t really capture you, y’know?
@Error609 Hey! I actually know someone who used SOP-Writer.in a friend of mine tried it, hoping to get a polished SOP. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be pretty disappointing. The draft they got back felt generic and didn’t reflect their real story or personality at all. It lacked depth and sounded more like a template than anything specific to their field or goals. They ended up scrapping it entirely and writing the SOP on their own. The difference was night and day the final version was personal, specific, and much more compelling.
So honestly, while these services might sound convenient, I’d suggest investing your own time instead. Your SOP should be your voice, your journey and that’s something only you can do authentically.
