Advisor won’t respond?

I have emailed my advisor ,two weeks ago almost three weeks ,and was told to email a different advisor before I could speak to her. It’s almost three weeks and neither of them have replied to my follow up email regarding my situation. Because of this I was not able to register for summer courses at Collin since I needed to speak with my advisor before I take the courses at Collin. This really made me sad and ruined my day yesterday. I’m not sure what else to do since clearly emailing them doesn’t help. If anyone could provide me advice, I would appreciate it a lot.

Hey! This is really bad. If you are a new student at the University, maybe someone in admissions would be able to help you out, or someone in student services. Otherwise you could try and contact the direct email again or find out who the supervisor is and reach out to them?

Why is it so hard to get ACTUAL help from the advisors, I get put on hold and then get sent to a different department where I get put on hold again…and then I feel like I never get actual answers. I feel defeated because I’m doing college and figuring everything out by myself and advisors just don’t help at all…how do y’all make it through when it seems like no one wants to actually help…:smiling_face_with_tear::face_exhaling:

Talk to upperclassmen at your college or try asking for some help using Reddit or common social media platforms. I am so sorry this is happening.
