UK or Germany: which is better for MSc Finance with B.Com & 1-year Exp., GMAT 665?

by N_Singh

I’m a 22-year-old Indian national with a B.Com (73%) and 1 year of corporate events experience. I’m interested in transitioning to a career in finance and am considering an MSc in Finance or a related field in the UK or Germany. I have a GMAT score of 665. Considering my background and career goals, which country would offer better job prospects and what are the most suitable program options?

Both the countries have separate benefits, like the UK has a strong financial services industry, particularly in London. This could be ideal if you’re aiming for investment banking or similar roles.

While, Germany, on the other hand, has a robust manufacturing and export sector, with a growing demand for finance professionals in those areas. Learning German would definitely be a plus there.

Fair enough, but program wise, which country should I be aiming for?
