What can I study in Canada after doing BDS from another country?

Hey! I’m trying to understand what options are available in Canada after completing BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from another country. Are there specific postgraduate courses for international dental grads or do people usually switch fields? Just trying to plan ahead.

Hey, great that you’re thinking about this early! After BDS, a lot of students look into options like Master of Public Health (MPH), Health Administration, or even courses in Biomedical Sciences. Dentistry itself is super regulated in Canada, so unless you go through the NDEB process to be a licensed dentist there, most folks either go for related PG programs or explore something new in the healthcare space.
