UK Opens India Young Professionals Visa Ballot for 2026: Dates Announced

The UK government has officially announced the India Young Professionals Scheme (IYPS) visa ballot for 2026, offering Indian citizens a chance to live and work in the UK for up to two years without employer sponsorship.
The ballot will open on February 17, 2026, at 2:30 PM IST and close on February 19, 2026, at 2:30 PM IST. A total of 3,000 visa slots have been allocated to Indian applicants in 2026, with most to be issued through the February ballot.
