Confused about GMAT rescheduling vs retaking fees — what’s the real difference?

Hey folks! Been trying to understand the GMAT fee structure but got a bit lost.

What’s the difference between rescheduling the GMAT exam and retaking it?

Also… why GMAT exam fees is high in the first place??

Would love to hear from anyone who’s been through this or knows a bit more!

"Yeah this confused me too at first. Rescheduling just means changing your exam date — like pushing it forward or back. It’s cheaper, but the closer you are to the exam, the more they charge.

Retaking is when you actually give the test and want to take it again — that’s like paying the full fee all over again "
