Can I get into German Master's with my BTech degree having only 160 credits?

I have 160-credits in my BTech degree from India. Many German universities ask for 210 ECTS for Master’s admission. Can I still apply? What are my options to bridge the gap? Any experiences from Indian students would be helpful.

Yes, you can still apply for a Master’s in Germany with 160 credits, though many universities prefer 210 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). Some allow students with 180 ECTS (which your B.Tech roughly equals) and may offer a bridge semester or ask you to take extra courses during the program. Others, especially Universities of Applied Sciences (FH), are more flexible and may accept you directly. Having relevant work or internship experience can also strengthen your profile.
