Hello,I am Nidhina N N and I am in my final year of BA Foreign languages and intercultural studies at Manipal University. I am planning to pursue a Master’s degree abroad. Focusing on countries Canada, Singapore, and France. I am looking for fully funded scholarships because the budget is too low. Kindly guide me about the different courses I can take and I don’t know about the universities, requirements, and budgets.
Hi @Nidhina_NN
I will be answering your query in parts - otherwise, it will be information overload for you.
First - the types of courses (along with the universities that offer them) you should explore and can target -
There are very similar courses offered in almost every university. Universities that you can target in your selected countries -
Canada -
Singapore -
France -
(continued)
As for the scholarships and budget to study abroad -
The cost of studying in Canada is INR 25 lakhs to INR 30 lakhs.
Singapore - INR 15 lakhs to INR 25 lakhs.
France - INR 35 lakhs to INR 45 lakhs.
Considering your budget, I would suggest targeting Singapore. Very few fully-funded scholarships are available that can cover your entire cost of education abroad. There are always some expenses that you will have to bear.
Scholarships for your target course and countries -
More scholarships can be found here -

https://www.gyandhan.com/blogs/canada-scholarships-for-indian-students
Apart from scholarships, you can work part-time (20 hours a week on average) or apply for assistantships.
Requirements -
I am mentioning some general requirements to get into the programs. Every program and university has different eligibility criteria and requirements, so check for the programs you want to target.
To finance your abroad education, taking an education loan is a wise decision. There are multiple tax benefits - read them here -
Moreover, you won’t have to worry about covering your expenses because student loans cover 70% to 100% of the expenses - that includes tuition fees, living fees, accommodation, travel, food, utilities, etc.
I would advise you to check your loan eligibility on our website - GyanDhan > Loans > check Loan Eligibility. Our Education Loan Counselor will discuss the options with you and give you detailed information on possible ways to fund your education. Our services are free of cost so don’t worry about spending money on valuable financial advice and assistance.
I hope this helps you. If you have any further doubts, post on this thread. All the best!
