Hello,I am Nidhina N N and I am in my final year of BA Foreign languages and intercultural studies at Manipal University. I am planning to pursue a Master’s degree abroad. Focusing on countries Canada, Singapore, and France. I am looking for fully funded scholarships because the budget is too low. As for the scholarships and budget to study abroad -

The cost of studying in Canada is INR 25 lakhs to INR 30 lakhs.
Singapore - INR 15 lakhs to INR 25 lakhs.
France - INR 35 lakhs to INR 45 lakhs.

Considering your budget, I would suggest targeting Singapore. Very few fully-funded scholarships are available that can cover your entire cost of education abroad. There are always some expenses that you will have to bear.

Apart from scholarships, you can work part-time (20 hours a week on average) or apply for assistantships.

Requirements -
I am mentioning some general requirements to get into the programs. Every program and university has different eligibility criteria and requirements, so check for the programs you want to target.

There is a lot of scope for students who want to pursue their master’s degree in fishery science abroad.
Most of the universities provide master’s degrees in fishery science and should consider countries like Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, etc.

Admission Procedure
Students need to give and clarify exams like IELTS and TOEFL for admissions to foreign universities. Prepare hard for these exams.
This degree will make students understand various issues and problems related to aquatic and ocean resources worldwide. This will help them in understanding the practical knowledge to manage and undertake research in the related area.

Application Procedure for doing Masters in Fishery Science

Through online mode, you can apply to various universities for a Masters’s Degree in Fishery Science abroad.
You can pay for the application form through a credit card or by money order. The amount paid for the form is not refundable.
Along with the application, form candidate needs to attach the GRE test score.
TOEFL scores are essnetial to submit for those whose native is not English.
This application form of the international students must reach the authority three months before the beginning of the term.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for Master of Agriculture in Fishery Science

A bachelor’s degree in fisheries or zoology or a related subject is required to apply for a master’s degree in fisheries. The course is open to candidates with second-class honors degrees. A student’s degree should be from a recognized university. In addition, they should be familiar with the introductory subjects for the university to which the candidate has applied.

Exam Qualification Criteria for admission to Masters in Fishery Science

The candidate should manage to score 1000- in verbal and quantitative aptitude in the GRE and the individual score of the subjects should not be below 400.
550 in the written exam
213 in the computer-based TOFLE
79 internet based TOEFL (iBT).
The score may differ according to the country the candidate has chosen to do the course. Candidates can appear for IELTS International English Language Testing System to get admission to the UK.
