Hey guys, I’m gonna start college abroad soon, and I have NO clue how to pack light. I feel like I need everything but also can’t take everything . Any tips on what’s actually important? Also, if anyone has a study abroad packing checklist, that’d be amazing!
Bro, I was in the SAME boat last year. First rule—don’t overpack clothes. You’ll buy stuff there anyway. Pack basics, a couple of formal outfits, and weather-appropriate layers. Also, ditch the “just in case” mindset. If you need it, you can get it there!
Omg, yes! I packed so much useless stuff when I moved. Prioritize essentials—passport, documents, meds, chargers, and a universal adapter (lifesaver!!). For clothes, roll them up to save space. And don’t bring full-size toiletries, just carry travel-size ones for the first week!
