We started this discussion forum with an intent to provide an open-source platform for students to get their queries on higher education and beyond addressed.
The power of a forum is that the information stays for posterity and can be referenced by others unlike in a chat. However, a chat does serve its purpose at times. We have chat groups enabled going forward.
There are 2 kind of chat rooms: Private and public. Public chat rooms (like test preparation) do not require any credentials, but the private chat groups (ASU admit, or private chat group for GRE preparation) require you to be a member of the group.
How do I join a chat room?
- Go to the groups page. Join the public groups or send in a request to join a private group
- Once you have joined a group, you can join the respective chat room. Click the chat icon (bubble on the left) and you can see the list of chat rooms you can access.
- Click the relevant room and start chatting
