I’m graduating this May with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science, but I’m having a really tough time finding a research-related job. I’ve been applying for about six months with no luck. I’m at a crossroads: should I keep applying for jobs, or would it be more beneficial to pursue a Master’s degree abroad at this point?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and advice on which path might be best.
Graduating in May with a Biomedical Science degree and struggling to find research work, huh? That’s a tough spot to be in. Six months of applications without any bites is definitely discouraging. It’s understandable you’re considering a Master’s.
I agree. The job market, especially in research, can be incredibly competitive. A Master’s degree, especially abroad, could open up a lot of doors. It would give you more specialized skills, more research experience, and potentially a stronger network in a different country.
