Anyone got a perfect SAT score without test prep classes?

Has anyone managed to score a perfect 1600 on the SAT without taking any SAT test preparation classes or buying any extra study materials? How did you do it? Is it even possible? I’d love to hear from people who pulled it off!

I wish I could say I did, but nah. I know someone who got a 1600 without classes, though. Dude just kept practicing non-stop with whatever he could find for free.

It’s super rare, but not impossible. I got a 1580 and never took any SAT test preparation classes. Just found free tests online and kept practicing.

1600 here :raising_hand_man: No classes, no fancy books. Just practiced every day, reviewed my mistakes, and focused on understanding why I got things wrong instead of just moving on.

Wait… so you don’t need test prep classes? :eyes: I thought everyone who gets a 1600 takes some elite coaching.

Nope! But you do need a solid plan. If you can create a structured study schedule and stick to it, you’re good.

Honestly, most people who score 1600 have been naturally good at tests for years. If you’ve always been in the top percentile, you have a shot at it without classes.

I got a 1560 without classes. Just worked through official practice tests and analyzed every mistake I made. It’s all about learning from your errors.
