Trying to decide between Stevens Institute of Technology and Oregon State Uni for a master’s in computer science

Which one’s actually better when it comes to things like teaching quality, research, job opportunities, and also where they’re located? I’m super confused rn and don’t wanna pick just based on rankings…

I had the same confusion. So Stevens Institute of Technology is in Hoboken, New Jersey – literally like 10-15 mins from NYC. That gives it a big edge for job stuff. You get access to internships and networking way faster. Plus it’s kinda known for its career services being strong.
Oregon state’s not bad at all tbh, especially if you’re more into research. Their CS dept is pretty solid and Corvallis is peaceful + cheaper than being near NYC. But yeah it’s more of a uni town vibe, not super tech industry around unless you move after.
