Hey, congrats on getting into UTD! It’s a tough one! On-campus living is definitely pricey, but there are some perks. You’re closer to classes, the library, and all the campus events. Plus, you get the whole ‘college experience’ thing.
Should I stay on campus or are there any other more affordable options near to college?
I’ve gotten accepted to UTD for Fall 2025 and I’m trying to figure out the finances. I live about 20-30 minutes away from campus by car. Is it better to live on campus, even though I’ve heard it’s expensive, or should I just commute from home every day? I’m trying to figure out which option makes more sense financially
