SCU Australia Launches Access25 to Make Education Affordable for Indian Students

Southern Cross University (SCU) has introduced the Access25 initiative to strengthen education ties between Australia and India. This program aims to make studying in Australia more affordable and accessible for Indian students in 2025.

What is Access25?

Affordable Fees: SCU has set the tuition fees at $25,000 per year for international students.

Quality Education: The university ensures top-quality education while building a diverse student community.

SCU’s Vision

A delegation from SCU, led by Professor Mary Spongberg, is currently visiting India.

They are meeting with key institutions, such as the Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, and IIT Bombay.

The focus is on building partnerships in research, academics, and sustainability.

Professor Christina Aggar will also visit the Asha Community Health and Development Society.

Conclusion

Prof. Mary said, “Any vision we have for our presence in the Indian market must be underpinned by genuine partnership, impactful research collaboration, co-designed projects, and curricula and shared experiences with students.”

Despite visa challenges, SCU remains open and welcoming to Indian students.
