Pursuing Masters of Computer Science after 7 years of work experience

by sahilkalra29

Hello Folks,

I have done my Bachelors in Computer Science in 2013.

Is it fine to do Masters from Canadian University after 7 years?

Do the university reject the applications on the basis that work experience is too much?

Generally, I have heard work-experience of 3-4 years is appropriate and help in profile.

Hi @sahilkalra29,

Your 7 year of experience would not be a problem as long as you are going for a Master’s program. The program and the course should help you further your career, help you get a higher salary package. Your visa will get rejected if you apply for a PG Diploma course irrespective of the institute. So, you can apply for a course even after 7 years of work experience.

If you require any help with admission to Canadian universities, do contact us and we will connect you our admission counselor for a first free session.
