UT Arlington generally has a stronger name for computer science, especially being part of the UT system. It’s close to tech hubs like Dallas and Austin, which helps with internships and job options. The campus is bigger and more research-focused too.
Georgia State is decent, especially for data-related fields, but it leans more toward business and interdisciplinary areas. Atlanta has some tech presence, though Texas offers more opportunities overall.
UT Arlington may not be top-ranked nationally, but it’s solid and offers good value. If you’re focused on jobs and long-term growth, it might be the better pick.
