I’ve been checking out Northeastern University BSc courses, especially in Economics and International Business, and it feels like getting in is way tougher now. I saw some seniors get in with okayish profiles earlier but now even with good academics and ECs it’s not a sure thing. What’s changed suddenly? Anyone else applying or got in recently?
Yeah bro same here. I was looking at Northeastern University BSc Economics too and even my counsellor said it’s getting way more selective. I think they’re getting way more international applications now + their co-op program is super famous, so more people prefer it over even higher ranked unis. That’s probably why.
My cousin joined last year for International Business and even he was surprised by how competitive it’s become now. He said when he applied, SAT was optional and it still is, but now they focus more on overall profile and essays. So even if your marks are solid, you need strong ECs and a clear goal.
