Just wondering how students from not-so-rich backgrounds manage to study in Australia or New Zealand? Do they have grants or some kind of government support for low income students? Curious how that works especially for locals.
It is possible bro, if you plan early. both aus & nz unis give merit-based scholarships for intl students… not all are full ride but they can cover a big chunk of fees. Also try govt scholarships like Destination Australia or NZ Manaaki. Plus you can work part time there (20 hrs/week) so that helps with living cost
TBH if you are really low on funds and no backup, you gotta hunt for scholarships like crazy 
But yeah they exist. Some universities offer up to 50-100% if your profile is solid. Grades, SOP, extracurriculars matter. Also please check deadlines early because some close super fast after offers. I missed one last year
