Can I accept federal loans after declining them to cover a past due balance and upcoming semester?
Back at the start of fall 2023, I had initially declined federals loans due to being able to pay out of pocket but my financial situation changed for the worse, I was wondering if it would be able to ask for the federal loans to cover the over due balance and current upcoming balance for spring 2024?
i believe you can contact the financial aid office and ask them to revert that decision, I had applied for sallie mae loans but turns out I didn’t need it and i called the financial aid office regarding other issues and i believe she asked me if i wanted to revert my decision from the sallie mae loans.
Yes you can! I just recently did it for my college. I would recommend following up with your finical aid office because they can walk you through it!
